National Garden Bureau Announces Important California Spring Trial Updates

Downers Grove, IL — National Garden Bureau (NGB), manager for the California Spring Trials (CAST) registration, is pleased to announce new participants and new locations for some breeding companies.
- As earlier announced, Benary is moving from Watsonville to Santa Barbara, specifically to Por la Mar Nursery at 905 S. Patterson Ave., Santa Barbara, CA 93111.
- Global Plant Source, representing Israeli breeding and propagating companies Cohen, Hishtil, Sad Assaf and Jaldety, is moving from Watsonville to the Santa Barbara Polo Club at 3300 Via Real, Carpinteria, CA 93013.
- A new company is joining CAST 2026, Walter’s Gardens, also at the Santa Barbara Polo Club at 3300 Via Real, Carpinteria, CA 93013.
- Another new participant, Express Seed Company, is joining Danziger and ThinkPlants at the Headstart Nursery location at 4860 Monterey Rd, Gilroy, CA 95020.
The dates for the 2026 event are March 24-27, 2026, a Tuesday-Friday pattern.
