Chelsea, MA – Morning Kiss Organic is adding kiwi and pears to its organic produce lineup. These delicious fruits are ready to ship and the timing is perfect for promotions, particularly for kiwi as peak season approaches.
Working with suppliers in California, Chile, and New Zealand, Morning Kiss Organic will be offering kiwis in a year-round program. Organic green kiwis are available in bulk and in a 4ct bag. Peak kiwi season is between November and May, making the timing excellent for retailer promotions. Kiwi is an excellent choice for healthy eating, as they are a good source of vitamin C, vitamin E, fiber and potassium. The perfect size for snacking, kiwi can also be added to sweet or savory dishes, such as salads, salsas, juices, breakfast bowls, and even baked goods. Kiwi is ready to eat when it smells sweet and is slightly soft to the touch.
Organic green pears join the Morning Kiss line up in a year-round program supplied by growers in Argentina, California and Washington. Pears are available in full size cartons or half cartons, with the option to have an organic band around each piece of fruit to ensure retailers get the organic sale at check out. Seasonal varieties that will be offered include Packham, D’Anjou, Bartlett. Pears are an excellent source of fiber, vitamin C and antioxidants. They make a perfect lunchbox snack, or a sweet addition to salads and desserts. Pears are ripe when they smell fragrant and are soft to the touch near the stem.
