Grocery deliverer Instacart, which arrived in Chicago in September, has expanded to the North Shore.
As of today, residents of Evanston, Wilmette and Kenilworth — also Rogers Park on the North Side — can use the service for deliveries of groceries from Whole Foods and Jewel-Osco. Other stores, including Mariano's and Costco, which are available to Instacart customers in other neighborhoods, within city limits, will be added soon, a spokeswoman said.
The company is still trying to work out a deal with Trader Joe's and is not delivering its groceries in any market at the moment.
