Teachers to Get Inside Look at Horticulture Industry

Thirty high school science teachers from across the U.S. are embarking on an immersive summer field trip to horticultural destinations around Indianapolis, gaining valuable hands-on experience and insights into careers within the industry. The field trip is part of Seed to STEM, an all-expense-paid professional development program provided by Seed Your Future, an organization committed to raising awareness of career opportunities in the horticulture industry.

Floral Businesses Get Proactive to Solve Labor Woes During Green Career Week

Floral and horticulture professionals from nearly 70 businesses seized the opportunity to address labor challenges in their industry by participating in Seed Your Future’s Green Career Week, Feb. 27 to March 3. The initiative got professionals in classrooms, students in businesses, and created a buzz on social media — all in an effort to showcase and cultivate an interest in green careers.
