Veteran Sustainability and Regulatory Leader Brings Nearly Four Decades of Expertise
Seafood Nutrition Partnership (SNP) is proud to announce the appointment of Bill DiMento, Corporate Vice President of Sustainability and Government Affairs at High Liner Foods, to its Board of Directors. DiMento brings more than 35 years of leadership in sustainability, regulatory affairs, and seafood industry advancement, reinforcing SNP’s mission to inspire a healthier America through seafood nutrition.
At High Liner Foods, DiMento oversees corporate sustainability initiatives and government affairs, ensuring the company meets the highest standards in manufacturing, seafood procurement, and social compliance throughout its global supply chain. Under his leadership, High Liner Foods has strengthened its commitment to responsible operations by expanding its portfolio of certified sustainable products, reducing source packaging and food waste, and lowering energy and water usage across the company.
“We’re excited to welcome Bill DiMento to the SNP Board of Directors,” said Jason Driskill, Chairman of the Board. “With decades of experience across the seafood industry, Bill brings a depth of insight and leadership that will further strengthen the Board and advance our mission.”
Since joining High Liner Foods in 1987, DiMento has held a series of influential roles, including Director of International Food Safety and Regulatory Affairs; Senior Director of Manufacturing and Regulatory Affairs; Vice President of Quality Assurance, Sustainability, and Government Affairs; and his current post as Corporate Vice President of Sustainability & Government Affairs.

DiMento holds a Bachelor of Science in Food Science/Food Engineering from the University of Massachusetts.
