North Coast Seafoods Partners with American Cancer Society to Support Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Oyster fundraiser takes place throughout October and culminates at Boston’s inaugural Shuck Cancer event on November 13
Boston, MA – North Coast Seafoods, a prominent East Coast supplier of sustainable seafood, is proud to announce a special partnership with the American Cancer Society (ACS) to raise funds in support of breast cancer research and patient programs throughout the month of October.
Through this campaign, North Coast Seafoods will donate a portion of the proceeds from every oyster sold at participating partner restaurants across the region. The initiative requires no extra effort from restaurant partners—simply by selling oysters as usual, they’ll help drive donations. The more oysters they sell, the greater the contribution to the American Cancer Society.
This month-long fundraiser will culminate with a check presentation at ACS’s inaugural Shuck Cancer event in Boston, MA, on November 13. North Coast Seafoods will also serve as the exclusive supplier of fresh oysters for the event.
“Oysters bring people together—and this October, they’ll also help make a real difference,” said Rich Polins, Chief Vision Officer at North Coast Seafoods, North Coast Seafoods. “This campaign allows us to support lifesaving research and patient care in a way that’s both simple and impactful. All our restaurant partners need to do is keep doing what they do best: serve delicious oysters.”
