Just in time for Wimbledon season, London’s viral Sushi Pops is serving up a championship-worthy dessert that’s guaranteed to be the sweetest thing on court.

Introducing the Game, Set, Match-a Sushi Pop – a Wimbledon-inspired dessert sushi bursting with strawberry flavour and finished with a tennis-ball-green matcha crumble.

Created by the team behind the viral push-pop sushi sensation, this limited-edition dessert features:

  • Fresh strawberries
  • Freeze-dried strawberries
  • Whipped cream
  • Vanilla-infused sushi rice rolled uramaki-style
  • Coated in a matcha crumble designed to resemble tennis ball fluff
  • Served with a vanilla matcha cream stick

Each portion includes eight pieces of dessert sushi, topped with fresh strawberries and finished with a side of fun. The dessert is gluten-free, with a plant-based version available in the same flavour.

The launch follows Sushi Pops’ rise since opening at Boxpark Shoreditch. Founded by husband-and-wife team Emma and Nacho Grimaldi, the brand’s playful push-pop sushi concept has become one of London’s most talked-about food launches, generating almost 900,000 Instagram views and selling out regularly since opening.

“We wanted to create something that felt unmistakably Wimbledon, but in true Sushi Pops style,” says co-founder Emma Grimaldi. “Strawberries and cream is such an iconic British summer flavour, so we thought: why not turn it into sushi and make it fun?”

Whether you’re heading to the tennis, watching from the sofa or simply looking for your next viral food moment, this is one match you won’t want to miss.
