Coggins Farms & Stanley Farms Establish Generation Farms

As of this month, Lake Park, GA-based Coggins Farms and Vidalia, GA-based Stanley Farms began operating together as Generation Farms. This new era of collaboration and innovation aims for greater customer satisfaction and opportunities for all members of the Generation Farms team.
“As Generation Farms, we will better serve and develop our customer base and respond to a dynamic and rapidly evolving marketplace, all while maintaining the approach that has made Coggins Farms and Stanley Farms great places to work. We share an emphasis on growing the R.I.G.H.T. way — through Respect, Integrity, Growth, Happiness and Teamwork — all of which are core values that have guided us for generations,” said Mike Coggins, general manager for Coggins Farms, and Vince Stanley, chief executive for Stanley Farms, in a recent company memorandum.
Generation Farms spans thousands of acres from Northern Florida, throughout Georgia, to just south of the South Carolina border. The operation is the East Coast’s largest grower of organic produce and largest grower/processor/shipper of onions and carrots with capabilities extending to sweet potatoes, green beans, peppers, watermelon, blueberries and kale.
Employee opportunity, food safety, environmental sustainability and high-quality produce are the keystones of the business and the foundation of leadership for the two families.
“Our management team is made up of ourselves, other members of the Coggins and Stanley families, and an extended team of accomplished agricultural industry professionals.
