WENATCHEE The Easter basket filled with chocolate bunnies, marshmallow eggs
and brightly colored jellybeans could be hidden just about anywhere.

Behind doors, out in the yard, in the washing machine, anywhere, said Alycia
Harvey of Wenatchee, still excited at age 21 that Easters right around the
corner.

Her parents have hidden the holiday baskets for Harvey and her siblings every
year I can remember, she said. Its become something special a family
tradition we all look forward to.

Such lasting traditions at Easter, the worldwide Christian celebration marking
the Resurrection of Christ, not only pull families together for church and big
meals, but present an opportunity for annual rituals of smaller but still
meaningful traditions that kids and adults remember throughout their lives.
