Danziger's innovative genetics have made waves in the floriculture industry, particularly with its award-winning *CHÉRIEÔ* Dahlia series, which garnered a Medal of Excellence at Cultivate ‘25. Other notable offerings include *LIAÔ* Abstract Lemon Cherry, recognized in the National Garden Bureau’s Green Thumb Award program, and *BESTIESÔ* Dynamic Bicolor Osteospermum, which won a Gold Medal at the HTA show. With a commitment to quality and innovation, Danziger continues to lead in flower breeding and production globally.
Danziger’s innovative genetics are capturing attention and racking up awards. Its CHÉRIEÔ Dahlia series received a Medal of Excellence at the recent Cultivate ‘25 industry show. The series won Greenhouse Grower’s Editor’s Choice award, noted for its showy, double blooms and variety of colors. CHÉRIE offers uniform production timing and is perfect for gallon programs. The series includes 16 solid and bicolor hues.
The dahlia series joins another recent award-winning selection, LIAÔ Abstract Lemon Cherry. Chosen as the 2025 People’s Choice Annual in the National Garden Bureau’s Green Thumb Award program, this striking calibrachoa features bold yellow blooms with a splash of cherry-red. LIA is a controlled, semi-trailing calibrachoa that is the perfect selection for combinations and hanging baskets.
Danziger’s new Osteospermum, BESTIESÔ Dynamic Bicolor, took home a Gold Medal Award at the United Kingdon’s Horticulture Trades Association (HTA) show in June. Picked as the Judge’s Choice in the annuals category, The HTA loved the multi-colored blooms in hues of peach, orange, lavender and pink. The BESTIES series is available in seven colors – all bred and selected for uniform growth and consistent bloom time. They can be grown in a warm greenhouse along other spring annuals, offering more flexibility for growers.
CASCADIAS™ Lavender Ice Petunia and NESIA™ Pink Crush Nemesia took home bronze medal awards at HTA this year as well. Judges noted the eye-catching colors and long-lasting blooms of both series.
