Produce Consultancy FreshXperts Expands Presence In Canada

LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo. – Leading produce consultancy, FreshXperts, announced that Andrew Southwood has been named as an associate member.  He will provide management resources and support for FreshXperts’ clients and expand FreshXperts’ reach into Canada.

Southwood is the director and owner of freshXpressions, a management solutions and consulting firm that works with senior executives and management teams to help them determine strategies for growth and develop models for sustainable and profitable businesses.

Southwood started his career with Unilever South Africa in 1986, and later, became the export manager for South African deciduous fruit at Unifruco, Ltd.  In the late 1990s, he helped to facilitate the merger of Unifruco and Outspan International to form Capespan International, and also played an important role in establishing Capespan North America.

He is a graduate of South Africa’s University of Cape Town, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Business Science and earned an Executive Master of Business Administration in Advanced Management Practices.
