Caravan Ingredients Announces New Product Category Managers

Caravan Ingredients is pleased to announce the addition of Diane Carnell and Dave Pfefer to the newly formed Product Category Management Group. Mrs. Carnell will be the Product Category Manager for Emulsifiers, while Mr. Pfefer will be the Product Category Manager for Fortification.

In their respective roles, Mrs. Carnell and Mr. Pfefer will have the primary responsibility for managing their product platforms to drive growth opportunities within the product portfolio. They will utilize their experiences to understand emerging consumer, competitive and market trends, key growth drivers, and product line characteristics and functionality.

Mrs. Carnell has been with Caravan Ingredients since 2010 and transitions to this position from her role as the Director, Innovation Center. Prior to that Mrs. Carnell was a Director of R&D with Kerry Ingredients. Mrs. Carnell has a Bachelors of Science, Food Technology from the National College of Food Technology – University of Reading.

Mr. Pfefer has been with Caravan Ingredients since 2007 and transitions to this position from his previous role as a Product Manager, Fortification. Prior to joining Caravan Ingredients he was a General Sales Manager & Product Manager – Enrichments with ADM Arkady. Mr. Pfefer holds BS Bakery Science & Management from Kansas State University.
