Yakima, WA – Superfresh Growers® unveiled its new Love Your Gut campaign on day two of the International Fresh Produce Association’s Global Produce & Floral Show in Orlando. Available for retail promotions from January through March 2027, the campaign highlights the naturally occurring fiber in apples and pears while helping retailers connect with shoppers before and during their grocery trips.

Superfresh Growers’ Love Your Gut campaign builds on what shoppers want: convenient food with nutrition, quality, and value. As protein-forward diets dominated much of the nutrition conversation in the past, a growing interest in fiber and gut health gives retailers another way to connect with shoppers in the produce department. The campaign brings that conversation to life through everyday meal and snack ideas, reaching consumers while they’re planning online and reinforcing that inspiration in-store.

“Consumers are seeing more packaged products promoting added fiber, but apples and pears already bring naturally occurring fiber to the table in one simple ingredient,” said Julieta Castillo, Marketing Coordinator at Superfresh Growers. “They’re easy to pack, require little preparation, and fit into everything from a quick snack to a family meal. Love Your Gut helps us tell that story in ways shoppers can put into practice.”

The January through March promotion gives retailers several opportunities to keep that message relevant. January’s “New Year, New Me” mindset and interest in whole-food eating provide a solid starting point for simple meal and snack ideas. In February, Valentine’s Day offers a playful extension of the campaign’s message: show yourself, and your gut, some love! March’s National Nutrition Month provides another opportunity to highlight fiber and help shoppers carry those habits into spring.

Love Your Gut will include social media content, digital assets, in-store signage, and merchandising tools that carry a consistent message from meal planning to purchase. Online recipes and snack inspiration can help put apples and pears on shopping lists, while coordinated displays reinforce their benefits and bring those ideas to life in-store.

This approach reflects how consumers discover their next snack. Circana data shows that 46% of consumers find snack inspiration in-store and 41% on social media. By connecting these touchpoints, Love Your Gut keeps apples and pears top of mind and helps turn online inspiration into in-store purchases.

“We want apples and pears to be part of the plan before shoppers walk through the doors,” Castillo added. “Then, when they reach the produce department, we want that same inspiration to make adding to the cart an easy next step.”

Following the IFPA unveiling, Superfresh Growers is inviting retailers to begin planning their January through March promotions. Customers can contact their Superfresh Growers representative to explore campaign materials and discuss how Love Your Gut can support their store throughout the three-month promotion.
