Canadian Food Inspection Agency Recalls Salmonella-Contaminated Oysters

OTTAWA, Ontario — The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has issued a food recall warning for oysters sold in multiple provinces.
CFIA is recall certain Five Star Shellfish Inc. brand oysters due to concerns over possible Salmonella contamination. The recalls are occurring in Nova Scotia, Ontario and Quebec.
Five Star Shellfish Inc. is based in Poplar Grove on Prince Edward Island in Nova Scotia.
Consumers and purveyors are advised to not consume, use, sell, serve or distribute recalled products.
