The Starship Seedless Moon & Stars Watermelon, arriving exclusively at Sprouts Farmers Market locations nationwide beginning this month. 

Inspired by the nostalgic heirloom Moon & Stars variety, Starship delivers a cosmic twist on the classic summer fruit with a deep green rind scattered in bright yellow “stars,” vibrant red flesh and a sweet, crisp bite that’s made for peak watermelon season. Sprouts even curated a custom cosmic Spotify playlist inspired by the Starship watermelon to soundtrack your summer moments—listen here.

Unlike traditional heirloom varieties, Starship is completely seedless, combining old-school charm with a more modern eating experience. The medium-to-large watermelon was developed as a hybrid variety designed to deliver consistent sweetness, firm texture and standout appearance.
