How Wegmans is Changing College Dining at the University of Rochester

Wegmans has expanded its reach to the University of Rochester, supplying popular grab-and-go meals at Wegmans Meals Markets in three campus locations: Hillside Market in Susan B. Anthony Hall, the Pit in Wilson Commons, and the Student Living Center at the Eastman School of Music. This marks the grocery chain’s first on-campus meal program, which Frank Guidice, Wegmans digital restaurant director, called an “exciting milestone.”
Wegmania has swept through communities from New York to North Carolina.
Now it’s hit the University of Rochester.
Wegmans, University of Rochester Partnership
Under a new partnership with Wegmans, the school is stocking the grocery store chain’s most popular grab-and-go foods at Wegmans Meals Markets in three locations: Hillside Market convenience store in Susan B. Anthony Hall, the Pit in Wilson Commons — both on the River Campus — and the Student Living Center at the Eastman School of Music on Gibbs Street.
Selling meals on a college campus is a first for the company — which has more than 110 stores along the Eastern Seaboard — and “an exciting milestone,” said Frank Guidice, Wegmans digital restaurant director.
