Oxnard, CA – Deardorff Family Farms is expanding is organic production base and adding to its sales team. On the supply side, the company will have increased organic production this Fall and throughout the Winter from Ventura County, Imperial Valley and Mexico. The new production will help meet increased customer demand for year round, high quality organic vegetable items. Luke Patruno, organic sales manager, says “Our focus for the past two years was on building programs that ensure Deardorff Organics has the highest quality organic vegetables every day. With that now in place, we are scaling our programs to meet our customer’s demand for additional supplies of Deardorff Organics.”
On the talent side, Deardorff Family Farms is also growing its operations. The company has hired Tyler Clear to work alongside Luke in organic sales. Tyler is a graduate from Cal-Poly San Luis Obispo (2007). Since graduation, Tyler has focused on organics – first with Albert’s Organics and most recently with Organically Grown Company in Portland, Oregon. Tyler has also been active with PMA. He was part of the Foundation for Industry Talent Emerging Leaders program in 2013 and is currently serving on the Fresh Summit Committee. Luke added, “Tyler is a rising star in the organic community and we are very fortunate to have him join our team”.

Deardorff Family Farms launched its Deardorff Organics line in 2006. The company has had continuous year over year sales growth. The company ships year round from its LEED certified facility in Oxnard, California and seasonally from Salinas and Imperial Valley.
