DCI’s Nikos Feta Unveils Greek Promotion

RICHFIELD, Wis., April 16, 2010 – DCI Cheese Company is pleased to introduce “Be a Greek God or Goddess”, a promotion offering consumers the chance to win one of three free gym memberships. The giveaway is sponsored by DCI’s Nikos Feta brand, a domestic feta renowned for its tangy, salty flavor and sharpness. Traditional mail-in entry forms will be available at promotional displays in the specialty cheese section of participating retailers across the country from May 1 – June 30, 2010. Contest rules and an online entry form will also be available at www.dcicheeseco.com.

Nikos is a cow’s milk Feta hand-crafted by Wisconsin Master Cheesemakers. Since 2006, Nikos products have received nine awards from the American Cheese Society and World Championship Cheese Contests, including one “Best of Class”. It is milder and less salty than imported Greek Fetas, but maintains the traditional qualities that consumers seek: a pleasantly tangy flavor and a distinct, crumbly texture. Nikos Feta comes in four varieties, including flavored options, all in convenient, re-closeable packaging. It mixes nicely with olives, cucumbers and mixed greens for a flavorful Greek salad and can be added to pitas, chicken wraps or pasta salads.

The “Be a Greek God or Goddess” contest is available to all legal residents of the United States and District of Columbia age 18 and older. Promotional displays will be located in the specialty cheese sections of participating retailers next to the Nikos products. Submissions will be accepted online through June 30, 2010, and by mail through July 7, 2010. Three grand prizes – free gym memberships – will be awarded as $500 Visa gift cards.
