CUDAHY, Wis. – It's back! Patrick Cudahy® Day is returning to the Wisconsin State Fair on Friday, August 8, 2014. The fun will take place inside the fairgrounds at Central Park from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Cooking demos, live music and giveaways will highlight a day chock full of activities for bacon lovers.
Beginning at 8:30 a.m., Patrick Cudahy will have a tent set up in Central Park at the fairgrounds, where they will be giving out prizes, coupons, recipe cards and product samples during the seven-hour span. Everyone who stops by the tent can capture their memories in the "Say Hey to Patrick Cudahy" photo booth. Beginning at 2:00 p.m., fairgoers can give the famous Patrick Cudahy prize wheel a spin.
In addition to the tent, Patrick Cudahy will be providing entertainment on the Central Park stage. The Patrick CudahySweet Apple-Wood Quartet will be signing throughout the day and Ralph's World will have music, games and prizes for the whole family to enjoy.
Local chef Brian Moran will be on stage giving bacon-themed cooking demonstrations. Select audience members will get a chance to taste his delicious recipes. He'll be demonstrating recipes such as Breakfast Eggrolls with Apple-Wood Smoked Bacon, Bacon Bread Sandwiches with Patrick Cudahy Virginia Ham, and Bacon-Brat Mini Sliders among others.
