PTG FrioNordica Secures Contract with Nordic Halibut

PTG FrioNordica has been awarded a contract to deliver heat pump solutions for Nordic Halibut’s new land-based halibut farming facility in Torjulvågen, Norway.

The delivery will support energy-efficient cooling and heating in the production plant, which forms part of Nordic Halibut’s strategy to increase capacity and enable more sustainable halibut farming.

Nordic Halibut is developing a new fully integrated land-based facility in Torjulvågen, bringing together several production phases for halibut farming at a single location. The facility is part of the company’s long-term growth strategy and will help increase production capacity towards a target of up to 10,350 tonnes of halibut annually.
