Orlando, Fla  – The National Mango Board (NMB) travels throughout the year to the top mango importing port cities in the U.S. meeting face-to-face with importers, wholesalers, and others who handle mangos in the U.S to share key mango information with the industry. The next complimentary industry outreach meeting will take place Thursday, April 23, 2015 in McAllen, TX.

The NMB meetings are tailored to the needs and interests of industry members in order to improve mango quality and superiority in the U.S. marketplace to help increase consumption. During this meeting, keynote speaker Dr. Sergio Nieto-Montenegro of Food Safety Consulting & Training Solutions, LLC will focus on the NMB’s Mango Food Safety Training Kits as well as share details on how to implement effective training programs in importing warehouses. Furthermore, the NMB team will provide a brief training on Managing Crisis Communications. An open forum for questions and answers will be provided.
