SALEM, N.H.– Standex International Corporation announced that its Food Service Equipment Group’s Nor-Lake refrigeration business was named the winner of the “Outstanding Supplier Partnership Award” at the U.S. Foods Culinary Equipment & Supplies 2013 Annual Sales and Training Conference. This is the fourth consecutive year that the Food Service Equipment Group has been awarded with a top honor by the Culinary Equipment & Supplies division. Only four suppliers were given awards in 2013 and only two, including Standex, were equipment companies. This award follows U.S. Foods’ recognition of the overall Standex Food Service Equipment Group in 2012, the group’s Nor-Lake refrigeration business in 2011 and its APW Wyott cooking solutions business in 2010.
“Nor-Lake is honored to be recognized with the Outstanding Supplier Partnership Award by U.S. Foods Culinary Equipment & Supplies,” said Chuck Dullea, President, Standex Refrigeration Group. “This award demonstrates Nor-Lake’s high product quality, excellent operational execution, stellar on-time delivery and superior customer service. Nor-Lake has been a successful partner to U.S. Foods because of our ability to listen to their needs and help them achieve their goals in the market.”
“Standex Food Service Equipment Group continues to be creative and flexible in the marketplace, helping U.S. Foods to capture market share in key product categories,” said John Abbott, Group Vice President, Standex Food Service Equipment Group. “As a partner at the Food Service Equipment Group level, U.S. Foods values the opportunity to offer a broad range of Standex hot side and cold side products and brands to the U.S. Foods customer base. We have achieved significant growth with U.S. Foods in recent years and we look forward to continuing to build on this momentum as we bring more cooking and refrigeration products to the market together in the future.1”
