McDonald's Is Rolling Out Its Fresh Beef Patty, But Is It Good?

McDonald’s announced Tuesday that its Quarter Pounder burgers and Signature Crafted burgers will be made with cooked-to-order, fresh beef patties.

After listening to customer suggestions, as it did for all-day breakfast, the burger chain determined that customers wanted a juicier, fresher burger. Monday, the company announced that it had been testing the idea of fresh beef patties in Dallas and Tulsa, and found a way to use fresh beef patties without slowing down production time.

The fresh beef patties are in 3,500 locations in cities like Atlanta, Charlotte, Miami and Memphis, but won’t be available in Chicago until May.
