Dollar General Market will take over two former Save Mart stores, bringing a new hybrid store — part supermarket and part discount retailer — to the Valley.
The store at Bullard and Minnewawa avenues in Clovis will open in July, and the the store at Fruit and McKinley avenues in Fresno is scheduled to open in September.

"It's a regular Dollar General store, but with fresh fruit, fresh vegetables," he said.
