Celebrating Holland’s position as the world’s premier fresh produce import-export hub, attendees at the annual trade event will meet new customers, grow sales, share innovation, and learn about new trends and opportunities.
The Amsterdam Produce Show and Conference (APS) has officially opened online registrations for the second edition of the boutique trade exhibition, seminar and networking event that will be #celebratingFRESH on November 15-17, 2017.
Returning to the iconic Westergasfabriek – a former gas factory in the Dutch capital – the APS17 will unite the global fresh fruit, vegetable and floral community in Holland – at the gateway of the European produce supply chain.
The APS17 is organised and hosted by the creators of the award-winning New York Produce Show and Conference and London Produce Show and Conference. Sponsors include Cool Fresh International, Robinson Fresh, Sensitech and Farm Fresh Produce.
Providing a fantastic B2B environment to exchange ideas, learn and do business, the show gives Dutch and international trade exhibitors access to speak directly with a broad range of major buyers and decision-makers from the global retail, foodservice and wholesale sectors.
“The Amsterdam Produce Show and Conference gives every participant the opportunity to meet, share and learn, adding personal and professional value to their business and careers,” says APS CEO Jim Prevor.
The landmark Hilton Amsterdam is now confirmed as the official APS17 hotel, where the Opening Cocktail Reception will take place in the evening of Wednesday November 15; offering delegates a relaxed atmosphere in which to meet and forge relationships.
This year’s event revolves around four key themes: Health & Education, Innovation, Sustainability and Packaging. A limited 150 exhibitors will be located within four zones according to those themes; giving each a platform from which to showcase their business, launch products, discover new opportunities and find new customers.
The main day of the APS17 on Thursday November 16 commences with a Thought Leaders Breakfast Panel, followed by the trade show alongside a series of networking events, Hollandfocused educational seminars and chef demonstrations by some of the country’s top culinary minds.
In addition, the APS17 offers a Student Programme, Media Masterclass and Partner Programme. The event concludes on Friday November 17 with produce industry tours in and around Amsterdam and Rotterdam.
“A multitude of industry colleagues will come together to celebrate Holland’s position as an innovative world leader in fresh produce and floral production, research and development, science, logistics and trading,” Prevor explains.
“Holland handles 24% of the world’s international trade in horticultural products and 50% of the flowers shipped worldwide. If you work in the fresh produce or floral industries, are looking to expand your business in Holland and beyond, and wish to discover new opportunities with some of the world’s key fresh produce players, then this is the show for you.”
