Hockessin, Del. – The PBH Ambassador program, started just over a year ago, continues to not only generate increased interest, but new Ambassadors as well. A PBH Ambassador is an individual passionate about the foundation’s mission and the Fruits & Veggies—More Matters® national health campaign and who is putting this passion to work. PBH is pleased to announce the newest Ambassadors!
* Kathy Barsotti, Barsotti Juice Company
* Chris Christian, California Strawberry Commission
* Charlie Eagle, Southern Specialties
* Kaci Komstadius, Sage Fruit Company
* Lindsay Ehlis, Borton Fruit Company
* Angela Fraser, California Avocado Commission
* Antonia Mascari, Indianapolis Fruit Company
* Lori Taylor, The Produce Mom
All 34 PBH Ambassadors, including the newest ones, have been busy throughout 2014 supporting PBH’s mission and Fruits & Veggies—More Matters by:
* Incorporating the Fruits & Veggies—More Matters brand logo and messages into marketing initiatives focused on grocery stores and social media;
* Introducing PBH to their business partners;
* Bringing new donors and supporters on-board;
* Talking about why they support PBH, and why others should, during presentations and meetings.
“The support PBH has received from our Ambassadors over the last year has been simply terrific,” says Elizabeth Pivonka, President and CEO of PBH. “I am so pleased to announce our newest Ambassadors, and grateful for the hard work of all of our Ambassadors. Together we continue to convey a clear and consistent message that including a variety of fruit and vegetables, at every eating occasion, is an essential component of creating a healthier America.”
