Eastern Produce Council Hosts MetLife Stadium Tailgate Event

On Sept. 15, the Eastern Produce Council (EPC) held a tailgate event at New York’s MetLife Stadium.
The Idaho Potato Commission and Oppy sponsored the EPC’s Tailgate Event at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on Tuesday, September 15th.
EPC Vice President, Gary Roselli, director of produce, Metro-NY for Affinity Sales, represented the council by thanking the sponsors and talking about the remaining events on the EPC calendar for 2026 and the EPC Leadership Program.
Bill Poulos, Executive Director, Grapes & Stonefruit of The Oppenheimer Group and Ross Johnson, Vice President – Retail & International of Idaho Potato Commission, represented their companies with remarks before turning of the night over to guest speaker, Otis (O.J.) Anderson.
O.J. is a former NFL running back who won two Super Bowl titles and the Super Bowl XXV MVP award with the New York Giants. O.J. shared stories of his time on the team, as well as time he spends with the team now as an alum. O.J. stayed to run the raffle with the sponsors which really made it fun.
