Sisters, Ore. –– Country Natural Beef, a rancher-owned cooperative that raises high-quality beef through practices that enhance animal care and strengthen ranch ecosystems, has added two new members to its management team. These strategic hires reflect the cooperative’s ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional benefits to its members while growing the consumer market for its premium beef products.

Tanner Beymer joins Country Natural Beef as Executive Director of Membership. Previously, he spent nearly a decade as a federal lobbyist for the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA), where his portfolio included the federal budget and appropriations process, cattle markets policy, and federal lands grazing issues. In previous roles at NCBA’s Center for Public Policy, Tanner was also a lobbyist for the Public Lands Council, which represents Bureau of Land Management and U.S. Forest Service grazing permitholders.

Originally from southern Idaho, Tanner grew up in the cattle industry and studied agricultural economics and political science at the University of Idaho. In 2012, he founded and operated an auction company. He now lives in Polson, Montana, with his wife, Kelsey.

“I’ve spent my career fighting for ranchers to make sure they had every opportunity to be successful,” says Beymer. “I’m looking forward to doing the same for Country Natural Beef families and securing a bright future for the cooperative.”

DelRae Ferguson joins Country Natural Beef as its Ranch Program Manager, bringing technical expertise in land stewardship and rancher relations to the cooperative’s membership. Based in Condon, Oregon, Ferguson leads initiatives that support ecologically sound ranching practices for the co-op.

Prior to joining Country Natural Beef, Ferguson dedicated her professional career to the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service. Her experience with the agency includes grazing management, livestock water system planning, juniper and forestry management, invasive species control, and precision farming practices.

“Being a resource for our members as they lead the way in the regenerative ranching and beef market is extremely rewarding,” says Ferguson. “My goal is to provide the technical support, value, and innovation our family-owned operations need to remain resilient for the next generation.”
