WEST GROVE, Pa. — Kim Anders-Luber has joined Star® Roses and Plants as territory manager for the South Florida region, succeeding Jim Darden, who is retiring.
Anders-Luber brings more than 20 years of industry experience to the role. She previously worked at John Deere Landscapes, McGregor Plant Sales and, most recently, McHutchison Horticultural Distributors, where she served as key account sales manager for the Southeast. She also holds a degree in plant science and landscape systems from the University of Tennessee.
The appointment is part of a broader transition within the Star® Roses and Plants sales team. After nearly 30 years with the company, Darden began his retirement in October.
“We can’t thank Jim enough for his dedication to Star® and the tremendous impact he made on our company, for our customers, and in the industry as a whole,” said Tom O’Connell, director of sales, marketing and licensing. “Moving forward, we couldn’t ask for a better fit than Kim. Her enthusiasm and experience have already added a remarkable amount to our team.”
