Red, White & Blue: Kalanchoe & Calandiva

The development of new Kalanchoes and Calandivas just keeps on going. Will you be admiring the new colours during the Fides Flower Festival?

We’ll start with red. There’s a brand-new gorgeous, single-flowering red Kalanchoe. Kikai is a single-flowering pure white Kalanchoe. And a true blue might not be found in the Kalanchoe collection itself, yet the meanings associated with this colour – reliability, commitment and certainty – are the core values of Fides!

But the colour range doesn’t stop here. Piton, a bicoloured variety, has now been introduced and this breeding line is being further expanded. We will also soon be introducing a sparking yellow Kalanchoe, and growers are running trials on a gorgeous bicoloured pink and white Kalanchoe. If successful, this one, too, will quickly make its debut.
