Plantarium will take place from Wednesday 26 August until Saturday 29 August. Trade visitors are very welcome throughout the fair, although each day will have a specific focus. For example, Wednesday will concentrate on the wholesale sector.
On Thursday, garden centre chains will be holding special meetings at Plantarium. These will start early in the morning, before the fair opens. After this, the garden centre staff will tour the fair in order to gain specific knowledge and inspiration.
Friday will focus on public green spaces. In collaboration with the VHG, the municipality of Alphen aan den Rijn will be holding a themed meeting on the ‘Benefits of Green Spaces’ for municipal councillors and landscaping heads of the G32 cities. Egbert Roozen, director of the VHG, will be talking about The Living Garden and the participants will then be brought into contact with the standholders by means of expert tours. Gardeners will also be invited to attend the fair on this day.
