Hydrangeas, one of the most beloved flowers, have had a resurgence in popularity over the past few years. Flower breeders have created some unique varieties of the much-loved blossom.
According to the Daily Herald, hydrangeas are now available in new shades, thanks to breeders who plant the flowers in different types of soils to draw out the plant's spectrum.
Annabell hydrangeas, perhaps the most well-known version of the blossom, boasts flower heads that can measure up to 10-inches in diameter. A new form of this common hydrangea, known as the Bella Anna, comes in a vibrant magenta pink hue, instead of the typical blue-purple hue.
Blushing Bride is a version of the Endless Summer hydrangea. This variety features pure white blossoms that slowly become a rosy pink over time, giving them their apt name.
