Don’t expect FTD to bring you flowers this summer.
The flower-delivery service, which was founded in 1910, may go out of business later this year if it fails to raise funds by the beginning of June.
The Downers Grove, Illinois-based company may shutter or tighten operations if it doesn’t find a buyer or raise funding by June 1, according to a Monday filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Per the filing, FTD said it will to have the funds to remain in business until July, but not beyond that point.
