LANGLEY, B.C. – Bevo Agro Inc., which produces vegetable, flower, berry and other plant seedlings for distribution across North America, says it plans a $4.2-million expansion to its propagation facility at Langley, B.C.
Bevo propagates seedlings and plants for wholesale vegetable greenhouse growers, field growers and nursery operators from its 34-acre (13.7 hectare) production facility.
The latest expansion, to be completed in January, will cover five acres (two hectares). An 11.5-acre facility was completed in stages in 2000 and 2001 and an 11-acre expansion was completed in 2004.
