BOONE COUNTY, Mo. – An organic dairy plant northeast of Columbia is closing in on operational status.
Aurora Organic Dairy told ABC 17 News on Tuesday that workers are in the process of testing and running product through the facility’s equipment.
According to plant manager Doug Geshell, employees at the facility on Route B and Waco Road have processed several shipments of raw milk this week. The product will get shipped to a storage facility in Colorado for distribution.
