The CurePity campaign, championed by Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare, is built around the idea that children with disabilities don’t need pity—they need hope, expert medical care and a world that gives them a chance. Land O'Lakes CEO Chris Policinski joined the movement by pledging to reject pity and take action to improve the health and lives of children with disabilities.

“It’s an honor to support the mission and work of CurePity,” Policinski said. “Respecting the true potential of children with disabilities, providing opportunities for expert care and life success, is a meaningful source of hope for their future. We all share an obligation to reject pity and create opportunities!”

The Land O'Lakes Foundation has been a long supporter of Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare and their outreach programs in rural Minnesota. John Ellenberger, Vice President, General Manager – Retail Foods, recently joined the Board of Directors for Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare.

Land O’Lakes joins other Twin Cities business leaders in taking the pledge, including Papa John’s, CenturyLink, and Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak. Learn more and take the CurePity pledge today by visiting CurePity.org.
