Let’s face it: Fall mornings are hectic between school drop-offs, packed schedules and finding the time to make breakfast.

Enter Galbani Ricotta’s “Morning Reset” — a simple way to refresh your breakfast routine in minutes with one unexpected hero ingredient.

The creamy, versatile cheese no longer belongs just at dinner. When lasagna or baked pasta dishes require only some of the tub, you can make the most of your ricotta by exploring more ways to use it the next morning.

Whether you’re looking for a savory or sweet way to start the day, adding ricotta is a convenient option for the morning, with a boost of protein ranging from 4 to 7 grams per ¼-cup serving.

To reset your routine, Galbani is serving up three new recipe ideas to upgrade breakfast:

Ricotta Peaches & Honey Bagel: Bagel topped with ricotta, peaches, honey and toasted walnuts.

  • ½ cup Galbani Whole Milk Ricotta
  • 1 bagel (plain or sesame recommended!), toasted and cut in half lengthwise
  • 6–8 peach slices, fresh or frozen (defrosted)
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • 2–3 tbsp. walnuts, toasted and coarsely chopped

Directions:

  • Cut bagel in half and toast
  • Spread ¼ cup ricotta on each bagel half
  • Place 3–4 peach slices on top of ricotta
  • Drizzle each bagel half with 1 tablespoon honey
  • Sprinkle walnuts on top

Ricotta Berry Breakfast Bowl: Ricotta topped with mixed berries, fresh lemon zest, and crunchy granola.

  • ½ cup Galbani Whole Milk Ricotta
  • 1 tbsp. lemon zest, plus more for garnish
  • ¼ cup granola with sliced almonds
  • ¾ cup mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries), halved or quartered

Directions:

  • Place ricotta in half of a medium-sized bowl
  • Mix 1 tbsp. lemon zest with ricotta
  • Wash the fruit and remove stems and leaves from strawberries
  • Cut strawberries in halves or quarters
  • Add the fruit to the other half of the bowl
  • Top with granola

Ricotta Berry Banana Smoothie: Combines ricotta with banana, strawberries, blueberries, and cherries or raspberries in a creamy blended drink.

  • ½ cup Galbani Whole Milk Ricotta
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup frozen whole strawberries
  • ¼ cup frozen blueberries
  • ¼ cup frozen tart cherries or raspberries
  • Fresh berries and mint sprigs, for optional garnish

Directions:

  • Blend banana and milk in a blender on high speed/smoothie setting
  • Add ricotta, strawberries, blueberries, and cherries or raspberries
  • Garnish with fresh fruit and mint, if desired

The best part? Ricotta is ready to eat straight out of the container and can be made with breakfast staples you already have on hand, like toast or bagels and fruit.
