Freihofer’s Bakery Outlets Close in Albany and Across New York

The Freihofer’s Bakery Outlet on Fuller Road, along with other locations in Schenectady, Queensbury, and Nelliston, has permanently closed. This week, outlets in Syracuse, Rome, and other establishments throughout upstate New York also faced sudden closures. The parent company, Bimbo Bakeries USA, confirmed these regional shutdowns through an official statement.
ALBANY — A longtime landmark for bargain hunters, the Freihofer’s Bakery Outlet on Fuller Road has been closed along with other outlets in Schenectady, Queensbury, and Nelliston, Montgomery County.
Outlets in Syracuse as well as Rome and other upstate New York locations were also abruptly closed this week.
Bimbo Bakeries USA, which is Freihofer’s parent company, confirmed the regional closures in a prepared statement.
