Washington, D.C. —  As the commercial baking industry continues to navigate a rapidly evolving marketplace and policy environment, the American Bakers Association (ABA) is closing out the year with strong momentum anchored by experienced leadership, expanded in-house expertise, and a clear strategic focus on advancing the needs of baking manufacturers nationwide.

As part of this year-end momentum, the ABA Executive Committee recently reaffirmed its confidence in the association’s leadership and long-term strategic direction with the five-year renewal of President and CEO Eric Dell’s contract. Over the past three years, Dell has led the development of a professional team that combines deep institutional and industry knowledge with new skills and perspectives designed to meet the needs of the membership.

“Eric’s contract renewal, especially given the length of five years, underscores the faith that the ABA Board has in Eric’s leadership and team building,” said Bill Quigg, ABA Chair and President of Richmond Baking. “It also highlights our commitment to our strategic direction, of which Eric has been a strong advocate.”
