Mango volume shipped on week ending 1/5/2013 was approximately 540,451 boxes representing 60% less than the previous week.
Ecuador
• Ecuador shipped approximately 338,000 boxes on week ending 1/5/2013 representing 52% less than the previous week.
• Tommy Atkins weekly average price per box at the Philadelphia entry port on week ending 1/5/2013 decreased by 4%.
• Tommy Atkins weekly average price per box at the Southern California entry port on week ending 1/5/2013 decreased by 4%.
• Tommy Atkins weekly average price per box at the South Florida entry port on week ending 1/5/2013 decreased by 4%.
• Projections for the next two weeks are 450,000 and 250,000 boxes respectively.
Peru
• Peru shipped approximately 202,451 boxes on week ending 1/5/2013 representing 67% less than the previous week.
• Volume shipped on week ending 1/5/2013 compared to the previous week decreased due to a producer strike. Adjustments to projections are currently not available.
• Tommy Atkins weekly average price per box at the Philadelphia entry port on week ending 1/5/2013 decreased by 4%.
