AUSTIN — Ham, milk, fish, nuts and other recipe ingredients produced by Kentucky farmers will be showcased later this month during the Heart of Kentucky benefit dinner to be served on Feb. 27 at the James Beard House in New York City.
The dinner will be prepared by two Kentucky chefs — Ouita Michel of Holly Hill Inn in Midway and Sara Bradley of the Freight House in Paducah.
Among the items listed on the menu for the dinner is a blue cheese and onion marmalade tart made with Kenny's Kentucky Bleu Cheese produced by Kenny and Beverly Mattingly of Kenny's Farmhouse Cheese located southeastern Barren County in the Austin community.
