NOR-LAKE NAMES BLACKWELL AS NEW VP OF OPERATIONS
HUDSON, Wis. – Nor-Lake, designer and manufacturer of refrigeration equipment for the foodservice industry, is pleased to announce the hire of Jeff Blackwell as Standex Refrigerated Solutions Group VP of Operations- Hudson, WI.
As VP of Operations, Blackwell’s responsibilities include all aspects of manufacturing, safety, supply chain, quality and operational excellence. In this role, he will work on designing and implementing operational improvements, helping to maximize the operational efficiency and product quality while also striving toward a zero incident safety culture.
As a member of the Refrigerated Solutions Group leadership team, Blackwell will provide input and analysis on all business functions regarding continuous improvement.
Blackwell has many years of experience in operations, serving two years as VP of Operations at AmesburyTruth Corp where he was responsible for multiple sites in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Prior to joining Amesbury, Blackwell was the Senior Vice President for Vestcom International where he managed plant operations.

NOR-LAKE NAMES THOMPSON NEW CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT MANAGER
HUDSON, Wis. – Nor-Lake, designer and manufacturer of refrigeration equipment for the foodservice industry, is pleased to announce that Justin Thompson will be joining them as the new Continuous Improvement Manager as of January 3, 2018.
In his new role, Thompson will help drive the company towards operational excellence. His responsibilities include employing a consistent organization-wide approach to continuous improvement by providing best-practice training, methods and tools.
Thompson’s many years of experience working in continuous improvement leadership roles will make him an asset to Nor-Lake. For the last four years, Thompson held the title of Corporate Director of Continuous Improvement at Nortech Systems, Inc. Prior to joining Nortech, Thompson was the Continuous Improvement Manager for Advanced Web Technologies.

NOR-LAKE NAMES WALKER AS NEW HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER
HUDSON, Wis. – Nor-Lake, designer and manufacturer of refrigeration equipment for foodservice, is pleased to announce Susan Walker as their new Human Resources Manager.
As Human Resources Manager, Walker will oversee all aspects of human resources for Nor-Lake including employee engagement, organizational development, recruiting, talent development and benefits administration.
Walker has over 20 years of experience as an HR professional. In her most recent position with Walker Consulting, LLC, she partnered with business leaders to achieve business goals, solve critical HR issues and promote employee engagement. Prior to consulting, Walker worked with 3M Company in several HR leadership roles dealing with employee relations, employee development and leadership development.
Walker earned her Bachelor of Education from Augustana University in Sioux Falls, SD and a Master’s in Counseling and Guidance from North Dakota State University. She resides in Hudson, WI with her family. Walker can be reached at swalker@norlake.com.
