About Organic Valley:
Organic Valley is a cooperative owned by its members — more than 2,000 family farmers in 36 states who produce organic dairy, eggs, meat, and produce. Just as we believe in the interdependency of all living things in nature, we believe that our cooperative structure delivers what's good for everyone. We’ve created a partnership between farmers, employees, and consumers – each plays a vital role in the success of our cooperative.
When we formed in 1988 we were on a mission to change the way people think about food. We set high standards for ourselves – standards that eventually served as framework for the USDA’s organic rules. Our products continue to uphold the highest standards – they are made with no GMOs, antibiotics, synthetic hormones, or toxic pesticides. Organic Valley views diversity as a critical component of a holistic food system – in nature, on the farm, at the processing plant, and in American grocery stores.
