WALKER, MI — Meijer is closing two of its three remaining small-format stores in the Chicago suburbs.
The stores in the communities of Berwyn and Melrose Park will shutter June 17. Their closure is being blamed on lagging sales.
"Based on recent volume we have determined it would not be economically feasible to remain open," the company said in a statement.
