Restaurant Technologies Announces Expanded Executive Team

MINNEAPOLIS — Restaurant Technologies, an award-winning provider of oil management to foodservice operators, begins 2017 by announcing the appointment of two new executive leaders, Amy O'Neil, vice president of operations, and Lori Wall, vice president of human resources; and the promotion of Bruce Atkinson, vice president of information technology.

As the new VP of operations, O'Neil brings 20 years of unique experience to Restaurant Technologies. Recognized for her leadership as the senior vice president of operations for Caribou Coffee, O'Neil worked her way up through the ranks and was instrumental in scaling the business to 500-plus outlets during her 16-year career. She also has experience as an entrepreneur, starting her own restaurant franchisee business, Phase Next Hospitality, with four national brands. She plans to optimize Restaurant Technologies' operational model to ensure customers receive the support needed to create safer, smart kitchens. O'Neil is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and a Milwaukee area native.

Wall, the new VP of human resources, has more than 25 years of experience in her field. She also dealt with shared services and finance in her previous career at Cargill, Taylor Corporation, Chubb Insurance and Northbrook Insurance. Wall will continue to fuel the growth of Restaurant Technologies through an expanded talent pool. She is a member of the board of Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota and of Simpson Housing Services. She holds an MBA from the University of St. Thomas Opus School of Business and a BS degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato.

The promotion of Atkinson to VP of information technology and chief information officer reflects his dedication and expertise in delivering innovative technology solutions to support safer, smarter kitchens by leveraging the Internet of Things, big data and cloud computing. Atkinson joined Restaurant Technologies in 2015 and holds a variety of global leadership positions with renowned companies including Thomson Reuters and NorthStar Education Services.
