ISSAQUAH, WA – Global leader in growing, marketing and distributing a 52-week supply of quality-assured and food-safety assured fresh fruits and vegetables, Vanguard International announces effective immediately Yuyuh Sukmana as the Regional Manager of South East Asia. Sukmana will manage the annual sales and marketing responsibilities for Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand.
Sukmana holds a Masters from the PPM Graduate School of Management, with a major in Marketing. Prior to joining Vanguard Sukmana gained significant retail accounting, marketing, and sales experience from his past employment with Hero, Lotus, and Tops
Supermarkets. Sukmana has been an integral member of the Vanguard team for 10 years.
“Sukmana has a strong background in retail and a keen understanding of the supply chain and what it means to deliver the right fruit to the right customer with exceptional customer service skills,” said Craig Stauffer, CEO Vanguard International. “We are confidant that with Yuyuh’s experience and background that he will continue to guide Vanguard’s success in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand,” Stauffer added.
Prior to the promotion Sukmana was the Market Manager for Indonesia. Marketing Manager of Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam Sharon Jones will now report to and work directly with Sukmana. Sukmana is the primary Vanguard contact for the South East Asian region.
