WAYNESBORO — Hadley Farms Inc., a family-owned wholesale bakery, will construct a manufacturing and freezer storage facility in the Wharf Road Industrial Park, Washington Township.
Hadley Farms has committed to creating 121 full-time jobs over the next three years. The company will move its operations from Smithsburg, Md., to a larger building and lot.
“Hadley Farms considered site locations for its new facility in multiple states, but selected Pennsylvania as the best option for the project due to competitive land costs, a skilled and dependable workforce, and convenient shipping and logistics opportunities,” Gov. Tom Wolf said. “I am honored to welcome Hadley Farms to the commonwealth and to show support for a project that will create new jobs and support the economic vitality of the region and beyond.”
