Mass. Brothers Embrace Life As Cape Lobstermen

SANDWICH — "This is a good forecast," lobsterman Greg Weeks says as he listens to the robotic voice from the weather radio predicting snow for later in the afternoon.
The outside temperature is 16 degrees and the water temperature barely above 35 degrees. Ice chunks surround the boats docked and moored at the Sandwich Marina. The frost-slicked dock makes the trip out to the boat a long one.
"We're gonna bust through ice, for sure, coming out this morning," the 48-year-old Plymouth resident says.
As hard as it was to leave his wood stove earlier that morning, Greg was still out at the docks before dawn preparing the boat for the last fishing trip of the season with his brother, Ken, 52, of Harwich, the captain and owner of the business.
