Shipt To Start Delivering Groceries In Orlando

Third-party delivery service Shipt will start bringing groceries from Publix Super Markets to customers' doorsteps.

Shipt plans to launch service in the Orlando area Sept. 5 after starting it in Tampa earlier this month. The program allows customers to pay a $99-a-year membership and get free delivery on orders of more than $35.

Groceries are more expensive through the service, about $5 more on an order of $35, according to Shipt's website.
