Idaho Falls, ID – Sunrain Varieties LLC, known for their innovation, expertise, and dedication to fresh potato seed development is extending an invitation to members of the press, the trade, and the fresh potato growing community to be their guests at their annual facility tour.
Billed as an opportunity to see the unique and exciting new potato varieties that are under development plus a chance to tour the newly renovated and expanded facility, this event is a must attend. In the summer of 2014, two additional greenhouses were added to the Idaho Falls complex plus a new storage unit. Additional developmental space and on-site testing equipment were also added to allow for improved and more efficient trials.
The Idaho Falls facility tour will demonstrate how growing their own tissue cultures, plantlets, and mini tubers the team at Sunrain is leading the industry in new variety development. Samples of finished product will be showcased to the attendees also.
